"A great shop with friendly staff and always has something different. Excellent coffee, which can be ground on request. The café at the back is open on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (10 am to 3 pm). They serve a range of hot dishes, toasties, salads, sandwiches, and drinks. We bring visitors here, who enjoy the Yesteryear Museum."

"Take a look at the Coffe Shop which is through the shop - its amazing! It's cosy, with a great selection of teas and coffees and the collection of artefacts from the 1930's to the 1960's are a sight to behold! You wont be disappointed."

"Pleasant shop. I felt like I was walking into a museum in some ways. Fair prices and wide range of foodstuffs. Had a tea in the coffee shop at back which was nice. 'Exhibit' with the mannequins and old grocery shop items was a bit surreal & bizarre to walk into. Certainly an unmatched retail experience"

"A great little deli with lots of unusual and tasty goodies, including pineapple jelly and interesting chocolate! I love the fact they sell also coffee beans, and will grind these for you. This is exactly the kind of shop that deserves your custom, and now (thanks to covid), more than ever."
