"I should have read the reviews before booking my wife to stay Feb 23 when on business in Nantwich. She arrived on a Fri night and was shown to a freezing cold room (heating broken), after complaining she was shown to another freezing cold room (heating also broken), then a third room which was slightly warmer. She was tired and wanted to sleep but the music from downstairs was unbearably loud. She phoned to complain and they claimed to turn it down but still unbearable and she hardly slept. Next day hotel claimed she had to move room but alternative room unsuitable as well. Woman claiming to be owner offered refund but when asked to process refund became abusive and disappeared. My wife was left in lobby with no room and her bags were locked in room upstairs. It took more than one hour to get someone to retrieve her bags and she left without the promised refund to stay at a different hotel which knew how to treat customers. Overall the worst hotel experience she has ever had. Woman claiming to be owner has no clue about customer service. Staff rude and uninterested. Definitely avoid this hotel in all circumstances."

"Roast dinner used to be amazing but not this time, feed back was given but lady owner was defensive and dismissive. I understand it is hard time for businesses but substituting cheap cut of meat and charging almost £18 is not the answer. Definitely will not be attending to this business anymore!"
"Pleasant staff. Also very friendly to my dog. Nice quirky hotel rather like staying in a hotel thirty years ago. No hot water at 5am but maybe that’s not unreasonable. Different and yet good."
