"I rang to enquire about a room on the 24th of August and was told they would send me a txt with access to a virtual viewing. This didn't occur. Prior to this I had sent a message to them to arrange a viewing view Open Rent and they sent an automated reply saying somebody would be in touch. 14 days later, nothing. I received no response. Don't waste your time with them."

"Had a disappointing experience with the agency. :( I felt assured that I had student accommodation in an area which was mostly fully booked only to be told that I had lost the place to previous viewers despite asking to place a deposit a few days earlier… Mostly a lack of communication and professionalism. I appreciate the people I spoke to on the phone were helpful at times! but this wasn’t a nice thing that happened and screwed me over."

"I am writing this review because this week, the staff at Longhouse Lettings has been working particularly hard to improve my experience living on one of their properties (and to streamline the maintenance process). They have implemented a new, comprehensive system by which to upload issues, and the result has been remarkable. It has been a 5-star week. I have given a 4-star review for two reasons: 1) Because for the first month or so living in on this property, I was a bit disenchanted with the response time from the agency when we had fairly urgent issues in our home. However, like I said above, this week has been a completely different story. 2) Because I thought the application and registration process through Longhouse was more complicated than I would have liked, and a few parts of the application were unclear and ended up being unnecessary (for example, there was a very long and detailed application form that I was asked to fill out by one Longhouse representative, and then 3 days later I was sent another, much shorter one that ended up being the proper one to submit. I wish I hadn't spent so much time on the longer application when I didn't need it in the first place!). However, seeing how responsive this team is to feedback, I suspect that this will not be a problem in the future, and I recommend letting with Longhouse! I suspect, if my renting experience continues to be as pleasant as it has been this week, that I will return to this review and give it a full 5 stars. As I said, this has been a 5-star week (and you cannot say that for many renting situations). Thank you, Longhouse!"

"I've been looking to move for quite some time now and thats when I discovered Alan and Longhouse Lettings. From the get go Alan was helpful, responsive and patient. He gave me the break down from start to finish as to what he needed from me in order to move forward, he was attentive and present and I didn't feel like this was just another housing agency trying to get my money or an agent trying to get their commission on a sale. I went to see the house and I liked it but it wasn't quite what i was looking for but Alan and Longhouse Lettings were patient with me and sent me emails and messages daily on alternetive options of places that were in my price range. Truly it was a breath of fresh air. Thank you Alan and Longhouse Lettings!"
