Reviews
"We visited The Horn of Plenty for my birthday yesterday, using a 'Celebration Dinner' voucher for two, I had been given by my team. Young Jacob looked after us all night and was a little star. We found out that he had only been working there a short while. Dinner was very nice, the duck starter a little tough, but the rest of the dinner was lovely. We were asked to move to the Drawing Room at approx 1015pm, which if I'm honest, given we were only going to be 10 minutes or so more, could have waited. We've dined in very fine establishments and have never been asked to move so that they could make up the table for the next day. Another couple was asked as well who we were talking to. As we moved to the Drawing Room, we asked if we needed to pay any additions and we were then given the full bill. The lady (I'm assuming the manager) did not realise we had a celebration dinner voucher. Bit embarrassing for both ourselves and her, as when I booked I informed them of this with the voucher number and was also asked to bring the voucher along. It's the little attentions to detail I find that make an experience. That being said, we had a lovely evening and Jacob is going to be a very good addition to the staff. He was very personable and we had some nice little chats between courses. We forgot to leave a tip, so we passed this in this morning."
"We had our wedding at The Horn of Plenty in November and from the beginning of our journey when visiting the venue for a tour, it has been fantastic service. The entire team at the hotel are lovely and welcoming. Shirna and Mia of the Events Team were so efficient at responding to emails and with dealing and arranging the big day itself. They made us feel so at ease. The food is also impeccable. The hotel itself is spotless and you are guaranteed a relaxed, comfy stay in spacious rooms. Beautiful views from every room we viewed. We wouldn't hesitate coming back to reminisce whether it be a meal, overnight stay or even an afternoon tea. Thank you Horn of Plenty."
"Lovely hotel. Setting was ideal, could not fault the views. Quiet location. Was greeted warmly by reception and showed to our room. We had the afternoon tea which was superb. The breakfast was lovely, so much to choose from and the staff were very helpful and nothing was a problem."
"Stunning venue and perfect for weddings. Out in the sticks but it means it's a more secluded and intimate space for a very special occasion amongst your nearest and dearest. Staff were incredibly friendly and the views overlooking the valley are to die for."
