"The beautiful pub has been run down. Its time for a complete makeover. Keep the historical features, but give it a good clean, re vamp the conservatory, update the washrooms, scrub the yard and give it a more update dining experience. Food is good though and the staff friendly."

"Stayed overnight in the motorhome as a Britstop. Really helpful and friendly landlord. Great beer. Monday night so the kitchen was closed but he suggested another local pub and a takeaway. Great dog walks from the pub. Will definitely stop again."
