"Doggy friendly place. Not sure whether it is part of The Maverick next door but they seem to share the same staff. Friendly bar, open to the pink pound. Great range of canned ales (is £5.80 for a can good value) but can I recommend Fridays 5-8 with £3.50 a pint."

"One of the nicest wee bars I have been in. Called in for quick pint midweek on a very wet afternoon so it was quiet, but given its location it must be hiving at the weekends. Love the decor, great use of the small space, feels cool. Nice range on draught, big selection of gin, whiskey etc. Would go back."
