"Just passing through I decided to call in to ask directions. I thought I'd eat too and have a pint. Really pleasant experience and the food was plentiful, hot and tasty. The service was enthusiastic and cheerful. They were just seeing up for a music night and the customers all seemed to be comfortable and cheerful. It's not gastro but good old English pub experience and I felt welcome and satisfied. Couldn't stay for the music but I'm sure those who did had a great time. If I'm passing again I'll be sure to call in. Well done."
"Clean pub. Nice owners (Martin and Kerry) and staff, good beer. Great music venue. Has been greatly improved and cleaned for Covid. Great food. Very well organised. Could do with a couple more ales to choose from."
