About the Business
Welcome to Aberdare Park, one of the most beautiful and exquisite landmarks in the United Kingdom. Located at 9 Park Ln, Aberdare CF44 8HN, our institution is not just a park, but a point of interest and a tourist attraction for people from all walks of life, be it nature enthusiasts or history buffs.
Imbued with 161 years of history, Aberdare Park first opened its gates to the public in the Victorian era. Since its inception, it has undergone several transformations and renovations that have preserved its charming old-world grandeur. The park is spread over 33 acres and boasts some of the most stunning sceneries, gardens, and landscapes in the town.
Our institution is blessed with a range of picturesque and well-maintained gardens that bloom with flowers of every color and fragrance, all year round. These gardens, accompanied by the many fountains and ornamental features that dot the park, make it a breathtaking place to visit.
Aberdare Park is also home to several historic buildings, including the Pavilion, which was built in the early 20th century and refurbished in the 21st century. The Pavilion is now used as a venue for concerts, fairs, and community events. Other buildings include the bandstand and the boathouse, which offer charming glimpses into the park's past.

Reviews
"The most stunning park, lovely for walking the dogs. Beautiful water feature pond with the ducks. Stunning in all seasons."
"A prime example of a Victorian Era park. Opened in 1850 this is not just a community park but an historical site too. Covering quite a large distance this makes for a great walk, exercise or workout, family fun time and more. There is a huge grassy area in the middle of the park which is perfect for a picnic or for outdoor games. The lake is full of ducks and geese, often in large flocks and add a touch of character to the park. You can grab a coffee from the little cafe and sit on a bench and enjoy the nature & view. The varied trees here are awesome with so many species. It's really quite something. Check out the nice rose garden too and the Victorian architecture dotted around. We are lucky to have this in our town."
"Fantastic park for all the family .they have a playground. A splash park, boating lake, tennis courts, bowling green, and lovely parkland to wonder and have picnics, there's also a great cafe at very reasonable prices food very nice ,toilets are very clean and tidy great day out for the whole family."
"Loving the new splash pad this summer. Great fun. Could do with more benches though. The children had lots of fun on a sunny day (ages 7,6,and 4) then to the park afterwards for a play!"
"One of my favourite days out. A dog friendly park with something for everyone. Plenty of space to walk on the track around the park on the walking track. There are squirrels to feed and beautiful flowers and trees to enjoy. There is a fabulous boating lake with lots of ducks and geese to enjoy. Please don't let your children chase the birds. There are public toilets and a cafe on site. There is also a splash pool. There is also organised motor bike racing that happens in the park during the summer."
