"The ladies who run Ardenhill are lovely. They had my cats for just over a week and seemed to get to know them quite well. I'm confident that my precious cats are safe with them. The only thing I would say is that I didn't realise that the cats wouldn't be given any toys to play with except the ones I took for them so I only took one or two. Next time I will take more of a selection for the cats. My lesson to learn."

"Very sad to be leaving a 1 star review, however I went to collect my two dogs yesterday after 2 nights away and I was told by the owner in no uncertain terms that she would not be prepared to have the dogs again. Why? Because they chewed their bed! They are 13 months old, are great natured dogs but have chewed before so I always told the owner to ensure there was an old bed in there incase they did again. She knew full well they were puppies and having had to rectify the previous bill and then offset what she had over charged me last time, to be told my dogs were not welcome back was pretty upsetting, especially as there were booked in for April but shes said she doesnt want them back. Maybe this kennell should insist on dogs 3 years up? Ive parted with hundreds of pounds over the last 8 or 9 months so to be told face to face that she doesnt want them back is pretty unfair."

"Lovely cattery and owner. My cat is about as happy as he's going to get coming here. He can get grumpy but after a day he perks up as the owner is lovely. He's been more than 3 times now and I wouldn't put him anywhere else."

"Lovely lady looks after the pets , left the cat with her for 9 days and the cat had been well looked after , Lovely settling and very clean , I was going to mark it down one because of the road and lack of a sign to let you know how to find it . But it was such a nice place to knock"

"Our cats seemed to enjoy their holiday as much as we enjoyed ours. They had a spacious, heated apartment, with a fantastic countryside view. Margaret was completely flexible as to whether she supplied food or we supply our own, she also offered to supply toys although we brought our own from home. She was knowledgeable and thorough about vaccination records and DEFRA standards. When we collected our cats she knew their routine and had clearly taken the time to understand their individual behaviours and needs. The enclosure for our cats was spotlessly clean when we arrived, and when we picked them up it was the same. As far as knowing our cats will be comfortable, happy, and safe while we are away, it's great to have found somewhere which fits the bill. Highly recommended on all fronts."
