"Outstanding service - strongly recommend I don't usually write taxi reviews but something was different about the service from Blue Taxis, which I feel needs to be shared with others. I booked Heathrow Terminal 2 airport transfers both ways after comparing price and services on Google. Honestly, the service was impeccable from the point of booking, and the firm has a real professional, friendly and sincere approach to dealing with their customers. Prompt text message to confirm the booking, driver arrived with a big smile in advance of the journey and helped by loading the suitcases into the vehicle, the journey was smooth and the driver was well experienced, he was friendly and chatted with us too, which made the journey feel a lot quicker. There was an accident on the motorway the night of our return journey. These things are unavoidable and we need to be prepared for them as it will cause delays.Of course it is of no fault of the driver (who actually left Leicester in very good time) and this is something we were mindful of. We received regular notifications from Blue Sky keeping us updated of the delay. Despite having been on the road for almost 5 hours, the driver barely stopped for a rest and took to the road again, and despite motorway route closures that were still evident of the accident that had taken place, he managed to find alternative routes immediately and we arrived back home in good time. We will definitely use Blue Sky Taxis again and rely on them as our 'go to' for any taxi service. It is also worth noting that not only was their charge the most reasonable, (out of about 20 quotes - I do like to research and get the best deal) but they do not charge any extra for delays that may be experienced by customers and will wait as long as it takes to collect you. Not only is this quite rare to happen (everything happens at a cost these days) but it also reflects the commitment and quality of the service to put the customer at the heart of the business.
