"If a vet surgery's only motive is to maximising their profits completely disregard the pains and sufferings of the animals being placed under their care, how could they be trusted by their clients and the clients owners? I had terrible experience when they put us under duress that we had to make a decision on our beloved pet's treatment in 5 minutes. Every treatment will increase their revenue, great for them but not for others. Formal complaint is needed! Not surprised to have found out the Viner Family sold their business to a private equity company in 2017 and the company was dissolved in April 2022. It must be trading in a different name. All make sense now. Everyone know private equity company's objective is profit maximisation! Who cares about the animals! Companies House does not lie."

"Usually Blythwood have been very good to our cat but we had an upsetting encounter with a vet who we’ve never met before named Helen (Pinner branch). She was rude, brash & impatient, no compassion at all. As any pet owner knows, our pets can be calmed by our presence or equally aggravated by a stranger with an abrupt attitude. We had arrived for a blood test, he was naturally a little nervous. Helen rushed to take the lid off and couldn’t do it properly because she was doing it impatiently. She kept pushing me to quickly scoop him out and the whole thing felt rough. After he had been weighed he went back in his box and growled at which point Helen snapped and said “oh be quiet I won’t have that language in here”. I was totally shocked! How does that attitude help a sensitive cat? I couldn’t believe how she said it in such a rude way (no humour trust me - she was cross) meanwhile I was thinking a gentle approach could have gone a lot further and encouraged him to stay calm and this could have potentially avoided further time being taken at the clinic. She then took him to another room for his bloods and I offered to keep him company so he remains calm but she said no she’s being helped by the nurse. She then marched out and said “NO! He needs to come back another day” I offered to assist by soothing him on the table (as he responds to me) but she outrightly declined without giving it a chance. I think she was just reading the notes and seeing that he can get upset with check ups but instead of giving him a chance with me she just decided it can’t be done. No chance given to me. I have never met such a rude cold vet. Our cat is sensitive but with time we’ve learned he can be soothed but she didn’t care about that. A very rude person who I do NOT recommend and we will not be booking in with her again. I would like to acknowledge the kindness of the receptionist Zoe and the nurse whose name I sadly don’t have. Both had the sort of nature you would expect at a Vet’s clinic, patient and friendly. Thank you for your kindness and patience. I do not recommend booking in with Helen especially if you have a sensitive pet. She doesn’t care about their feelings she just wants to get on with her day. Our poor cat was traumatised by her."

"Took my very nervous cats for their first booster. Greeted by a very friendly receptionist. The vet was brilliant, really handled the cats very well. I have been going to this vet for over 20 years and the service is always excellent"
