"A lovely spacious clean room. The bar and dining area were really nice and the buffet style breakfast had a good selection of items and was well stocked. The only issue is that the gym and swimming pool are closed and seem to have been for a while."

"Staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful. Considering we had a privilege room there were a couple of niggles. The remote was stuck together with tape and didn't work so requested batteries from reception. We eventually went to reception after waiting a while for the batteries. Changed the batteries but still couldn't get the TV to turn on. We left it and used our phone instead. The bathroom smelled like urine and wasn't 'privilege' clean. The rest of the facilities in the room were good."

"Service was immaculate. Breakfast and evening meal were amazing. Reception staff went above and beyond. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. Room was spacious and had a great view over the water. Close to the city centre everything was a stones throw a way. The pool closed the week before we came which was a little disappointing but didn’t really affect us as there was plenty in the area to do. Thanks to the Holland House team for making our weekend so amazing."

"Ok, not bad, not great. A bit dated, but perfectly adequate. A few issues on our stay. Whilst we had a large and spacious room it was right by reception so very noisy, only three pillows in the room and there was no ability to pay by card at the bar (temp fault). On the plus side the bed was comfortable and there was loads of space in our room."

"My partner and I had a fantastic weekend stay in this fabulous hotel! The check-in team were very professional and helpful, they were happy to answer questions and recommended some great places to visit. Marta was such a star, so friendly and thoughtful, thank you so much for your kind help! In terms of the room, it was very spacious, had great amenities, and the bed was super comfy. The breakfast was excellent and varied daily. We also enjoyed dining and drinking red wine at the cozy restaurant ☺️ We will certainly come back!"
