"Against all the other good ratings I must say it was a really unfriendly welcoming. We couldn't reach anyone over the phone, so decided to just drive their anyways and inquire in person. However we arrived at the campsite at 8:10 pm and got turned away right away with incredibly unfriendly manner. We actually moved to another campside called the wheel Park close by which was actaully lovely! And still enough time to built up the tent before it got dark:)"

"Super friendly host (karyn) and spotlessly clean. Loved the friendly animals all around. Karyn sets such a lovely tone that the other campers follow suit. A really congenial atmosphere. We stayed in the pod and it's really warm and cosy. When we underestimated the space we needed for our teenage boys, K let us set up a small pop-up next door."

"We stumbled across this campsite after the campsite we had booked was double booked. We called in the evening and the owner was very friendly and accommodating and told us she would have place for us to pitch our tent. Upon arrival we learned about the Eco concept of the camping which we fully endorse! The field where we could place our tent was spacious and the handy wheelbarrow made moving items from our car to the site a lot easier. The facilities however were a bit cramped for the amount of people."

"Spacious grassy tent pitch in open field with superb view. Modern facilities with free, spacious hot showers. Good value for £25 per pitch for two. Drinking water available from a 'water cooler' as water for washing etc eco-harvested from roof. Telephoned friendly owner to check availability on the evening of arrival. Open fires permitted in designated fire rings. Also glamping but not used by us."

"We came to this campsite a week ago and really enjoyed it. They had good facilities that were in good condition. The manager was friendly and helped us with a shortcut to the Falkirk Wheel. Unfortunately, to get there, we had to walk along roads without footpaths. This can be avoided by walking from the Falkirk wheel on a well kept trail. In addition there were friendly chickens and cats!"
