"travelled up here on Friday 30th December which was a day of very heavy rainfall and flooding with various roads closed. the chosen route for us was closed so had to reroute. this was when we discovered what appears to be the best route its a bit longer but roads are far better...up motorway to Stirling then onto the a811 and down to campsie glen from there. the site was perfect for us and will definitely visit again"

"If you’re looking for a good nights kip, don’t bother! My kids just couldn’t sleep. Half 11 at night with booming music, screaming kids and dogs barking. Not a warden in sight. Premium prices with a far from premium quality campsite."
