"Its a good school in terms of classrooms and facilities. But it has no respect for its students and it havs a authoritative attitude it festers a culture of rudeness in the school amongst students and students feel very unheard. Not the type of school a child would like. A lot of bullying and teachers really dont care"
"Cranford Community college has been a no frills, bastion of sport for decades. My recent visit was to use the floodlit 3G football pitches. When you arrive at the entrance you are greeted by the auto barrier. The car park is accommodating. Though you may end up at the furthest reaches if you dont get there early. You generally have to pass through reception to enter the main building before reaching the school, changing and sport facilities. The changing rooms are basic (showers/toilets) although there does seem to be some refurbishment going on (probably purely cosmetic). From my time practicing martial arts there decades ago, I know that there are halls for dance classes and a main sports hall for everything from Badminton to Basketball. Cranford is a small town and this facility provides a place for healthy group activities, I'm sure they provide all manner of other adult learning too."
"My review is slightly different. My son starts tomorrow having moved from Isleworth and Syon, so I'll be giving a review from a parent perspective. So far seems to be okay and I will update each term on ratings for the school. Fair to say I'll start with a three star and update at Christmas. An update as my Son is his final year 29/03/2022: I'll keep it short for now and provide a more lengthy update once my son has completed his exams. Unfortunately it is disappointing to say the school prioritises itself on numbers and how it should portray itself as an image focusing in secondary priorities to make their pass rate numbers look good. This in turn means the focus is not on substance of how to get a child to progress but, do things as a process regardless if the process has any value. I can give many examples that I have come across when referring to secondary priorities over primary but will give one for now: Mocks were taken over Christmas but at no time did the school have an policy or understanding that those mock papers should be handed back to the children so that they could review the papers, digest where they have gone wrong and what they would need to do to improve. Sending in multiple emails did eventually get me the papers I wanted - after usual excuses that they had to be keep them back for some unknown reason - you'd think photo copying just did not exist in this day and age. If the child is provoked or steps out of line in the slightest, expect a phone call at home and the third degree. Majority of the children who will attain the required grade will probably be on private tuition - so credit really goes to their parents despite the lack of understanding and empathy from the school. Would I recommend this school to aspiring parents - if you are local and do not have better option due to personal circumstances, It is adequate at best."
"Do NOT send your children here. The teachers don't care about the students. Favouritism in class. Poor standard of teaching. No prom for end of school, even though Lampton & Heston had one. Send your kids elsewhere"
"well it's like the second week for me. HORRIBLE, i tell you. i do not recommend this school. everything was going pretty well until this teacher was like being rude and giving this attitude towards a student, like she was bossy. it was annoying even if i didn't happen to me. it wasn't really a good impression of the teachers. the older students are annoying and have no respect, please parents get help, and so apparently year 7's have lunch on break 1, so it's like the first day, they're rushing us, like i need time, it's like the teachers expect everything. i'm not even mature yet, like what's going on. but the teachers are nice and all, i appreciate that but i'm still not giving a star. these reviews i can agree with apart from the ones that say they are good. honestly, i'm worried for my future and others. i've lost interest in everything. i was expecting something better, this is such a disappointment. and about the social distancing, NO ONE CARES, like everyone is literally bumping into each other and pushing, the teacher just screamed, to the left. this is not good. and like personally i don't think there are enough hand sanitisers. and the other day so this girl took her mask off and some teachers walked past and i saw one of them pointing at her but she didn't care. also the other day, i have seen people fist bump. no one cares, like this is rubbish. also the uniform policy is the stupidest thing i've ever heard off, like why do you care so much? i feel so disgusting to wear the uniform, it's so ugly. like black jackets, like specific black shoes, i don't get it. i've even asked people what they thinks about this school, they absolutely hate it. this stupid google won't let me post without a star. DON'T CHOOSE THIS SCHOOL, PLEASE, I DON'T CARE IF YOU READ TILL THE END OR NOT, NEVER COME HERE."
