"I booked this band to perform for our New years Eve celebration at Heywood Civic Centre. They arrived on time, got on with their own set up and played at the times we had allocated. Black and Gold were well dressed and looked the part for a NYE celebration. I was very impressed with the sound quality and energy of the band on stage. By the end of the first performance they had our audience on their feet and dancing the night away and by the second performance the crowd were really in to it. The set list was perfect - a mixture of classic soul and Motown and a few modern hits which the crowd seemed to appreciate. The band themselves are lovely people and were all very polite. I would definitely book them again as they are a brilliant way to really make a party of any sorts. I wish you all the best for 2017 and hope to see you again soon."

"Arranging our band through freak music was an absolute delight. The website was easy to use and provided loads of information about the bands. The communication from freak music was faultless, even when I accidentally deleted all the emails, they responded quickly to forward all emails to me. All staff were friendly and professional. Booking the band was supremely easy which was great, my wife trusted me to sort the music so I'm glad the process was easy. The band themselves were awesome, if I could rate them above 5 stars I would. Pat was very easy to communicate with, they offered to learn songs we liked and provided a massive list of songs for us to choose from. They arrived on time and allowed us to enjoy time with our guests while they set up. They were so patient with my young neice who wanted to try the drums and banjo, letting her play both, above and beyond what I would expect from a band. They played 3 x 45 minute sets of incredible music, our guest were dancing from the first to the last. The guys are so talented! I don't think I've ever heard a wedding group shout for an encore before, hearing people chant '1 more song' was awesome, particularly when the guys obliged and finished our wedding on a real high. Massive thanks to freak music and banjo lounge 4 for helping make our day such an amazing one :)"

"We have just used Diane Shaw at our Butterfly Ball and we're completely blown away! Totally amazing, they had the dance floor full from beginning to end end. Not only was the sound fantastic but Diane and her band were fantastic and lovely people. It takes a big act to entertain 500 people but to Diane it seem no effort at all. A brilliant experience would highly recommend and Freak Music were great too, that great I've already booked for next year!"
