"Visited a few weeks ago after going to a nearby pharmacy (which I won’t name) and having a poor experience. I was looking for advice after having a braces adjustment post teeth extraction (6 removed in total), as the rubber bands were causing me very painful mouth sores. Usually if the brackets cause this problem it can be helped with wax, but I couldn’t affix wax to the new bands. I tried everything including Anbesol but had no luck. I work with people who are hard of hearing and I was feeling incredibly distressed at having to try to talk for over 8 hours a day, often repeating myself due to the nature of my job. I couldn’t eat and I was adamant I’d have asked for the braces to be removed this time if I hadn’t already committed with the extractions. The first pharmacy I visited, the staff simply shrugged when I told them what I’d tried and that ibuprofen also hadn’t helped. This was also now causing me stomach problems being that I couldn’t eat well and was taking ibuprofen often in the hopes it would help. I visited the Pyramid pharmacy next and the staff were immediately helpful with their recommendations. I tried both products they suggested and was immediately on my way to getting better. The relief was immediate and I continued with their recommendations until my mouth healed. I can’t tell you how grateful I am that I wasn’t dismissed like at the first pharmacy, and could carry on with my day feeling more comfortable and less distressed about the whole thing. "We went to the pharmacy hoping for a flu jab. My wife is entitled to a free jab as she has just given birth. However the pharmacy has refused to provide it to us because she is under 65 despite showing her exemption 10 days later we all got flu and the little one went to A&E with a high fever."
