Its a beautiful little gem of Birmingham which you and any children in your family will enjoy exploring. It contains walking paths, trees, swamps, bogs and trickles of water and streams here and there. As I often say... "NOT ALL THOSE WHO WANDER ARE LOST.""

"A lovely place for a walk. There are wooden walk ways over the wetter places. It is ajoined by Joy's Wood. This area is where Tolkien spent time as a child and is reported to be the inspiration for Big Wood featured in his writings."
