"We payed through Booking but the website reserved a wrong room (too small) for us. When we called the assistance, Booking didn’t want help us. Mariam, from Lucky 8 Hotel, were so kind with us finding the right solution without any charge. Thank you!!! I really suggest this hotel!!!"

"The room was utterly filthy, dirty used mugs and spoons, stained sheets, FILTHY bathroom, sticky floors that your shoes would get stuck too, food splattered on the walls, pillows so matted it had turned into 2 clumps, lights hanging off the walls and dust thick like I’ve never seen before. If that wasn’t enough, upon arrival they told us our booking hadn’t come through despite booking a week prior and having all the confirmation with us. They then demanded another £50 deposit despite our booking saying no additional fees required. We were told we would receive this refund in 3-5 days, it’s a week and a half later and we’ve still not got our money back and they are ignoring all our communications with them."

"Its a scam. I came from Manchester, when I arrived they told me they had no rooms while they already took the payment. They told me go to the next hotel (York Hotel) which in reality is a hostel where you share the room with others. When I complained and asked for my money back they said they can’t give my money back even if I don’t stay there. DO NOT BOOK. AVOID."
