"I joined this GP a year ago and my experience so far has been good. The doctors and nurses have both taken care of me during my pregnancy and my newborn without any hiccups. Appointments are easy to schedule in. The receptionist might seem a bit rude but that is because she is fast, direct and no nonsense. I appreciate the efficiency in this. It is also very easy to call in as other surgeries, I've struggled to even get anyone on the phone."

"Update - received a call back instantly offering me an appointment tomorrow (this could of totally been avoided and saved the stress if offered originally). Really bad service from Lesley the receptionist today. Given me so much false information. Clearly reception staff need further training and to know how their booking system works. Real shame as I was so impressed with the doctor I had seen a number of weeks ago who has now apparently moved on. Hopefully this lump on my neck is nothing sinister :)"

"Difficult / near impossible to get same day appointments made more painful by the receptionist staff who appear to take pleasure in their gatekeeper roles rather than trying to work with you to see a doctor. When you or your family are unwell, you want someone who is on point to support, not battle with you. Doctors seem ok. Generally disinterested rather than engaged but get the job done when you eventually speak with them."

"This GP was pretty good when I joined but unfortunately has deteriorated markedly. The abysmal call on the day appointment policy makes it as difficult as possible for patients to see a doctor. For people who work full time, especially like many in this area who travel into London every day for work, they cannot call at 8.30 every morning to start with, then even if they can call and actually get through and make an appointment (a serious endeavour!) you cannot just up sticks and leave work for the day and head back home again. Appointments need to be booked and diarised in advance. Even going into the surgery and requesting to book an appointment isn't allowed and ends up in a difficult discussion with a receptionist who will ask what is wrong with you, (which they shouldn't be doing as they are not doctors and it is private), all in front of other patients, before trying to put you off seeing a doctor if at all possible. It's a shame because there are some good medical staff there but it is very difficult to actually get to see them and seems designed to be that way. Even if you can it is a video call so how they can examine your foot, for example, or look in your ears or throat, is a mystery. I'll be glad to post a better review in the future if they amend the appointment booking system to show more consideration for their patients."
