"I had an excellent experience at A&E with my boy. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and professional. Despite being very busy, they made sure we were checked in quickly and kindly directed us to the children's section. We did have to wait a while, but I'm impressed by the level of care they provided. Whipps Cross hospital is definitely my top choice and everyone I encountered was so patient and helpful with my boy. I'm truly grateful for the care we received - thank you!"

I was checked in and went to the children section where there was a bit of a wait but I truly appreciate how busy they were so I cannot complain. This is my hospital of choice. "Firstly our whole experience before we departed was actually 5 star. Staff were AMAZING In particular the guy in the x-ray department was wonderful. However, unfortunately Phil on desk 4/fracture desk was extremely rude and in a job that he must despise quite frankly. After visiting children's A&E, X-Ray, Minor Injuries departments and receiving top quality care and attention from staff, we had to hand in a fracture form at the front desk in A&E for a future follow up review. The desk looked closed as the blind was half mast with the words 'Closed' displayed but we waited anyway. The lady on Desk 3 was rude and abrupt in telling me to wait there when I said it looked closed as the blind said this. She made no attempt to adjust the blind. When Phil (desk 4/fractures) appeared he began to tell me we would receive a call on Monday, I asked the question if it would be a specific time-slot (I teach & therefore don't have access to my phone from 8-3:30pm) only to be barked at that he'll get to that in a minute, talking over me as I tried to explain why I had asked. Really very rude and uncalled for. I had my young daughter present who too was flabbergasted. As I said, such a shame, as what was a really positive experience was let down as we left by the woman on desk 3's uncalled for rudeness and Phil desk 4 extreme rudeness to a simple question. Totally the wrong candidates for public facing roles, how they got the job in the first place is beyond me (10am 5/11/22) The reception children I teach have better manners. An overhaul needed in this area of the hospital as it lets down other departments."
