"As per the instructions on the sign at Click & Collect parking bay, I stayed in the car and called the phone number accordingly, but no one picked up the call. I kept calling again and again, ringing at least 5 minutes EACH call, but still no one picked up. I have no choice but to wake my toddler up and go into the shop's Customer Service. I explained what had happened, still, the staff even said I was late... But in fact, I arrived on time, only because I wasted over 20mins calling their phone number which no one answered. I have much better experience using Click & Collect with other supermarkets, so NO next time Banstead Waitrose."

"Always a pleasure to shop here - fully stocked shelves and good quality produce. Especially love the spice and herb selection, often many things I've not heard of to add to my collection. Plenty of parking too."

"Poor experience with the lady at self checkout. She kept giving attitude for no reason at all? Huffing and puffing for what? She was nice to the other customers but it was just me she was giving different treatment to. It doesn’t take a lot to be nice."

"So I am beginning to think there is some kind of profiling going on @ Bantstead Waitrose! I went in there for the third time in a row with a £100 + shop which I completed on self scan to be told that I had been selected for a random check. First she took stuff out of all my bags in a chaotic way after I had spent time organising my shopping to ease my unpacking and then after scanning about 20 items she said she had to do a ‘FULL RESCAN’ . Everytime I get chosen for a ?RANDOM SCAN! Doesn’t sound random to me! Not once have I got it wrong and not scanned something. I am not a thief. If you are worried about that why don’t you have a sign saying no ASIANS to use self scan! May as well! Thanks for absolutely ruining my day in what is already a bad week!!! I literally told them to keep their stuff. I’m not going to be made to feel like a thief every time and waste and extra hour every time I go to Waitrose . The food isn’t that special! I was told it’s because they are doing more checks because of XMAS! Well actually why don’t you open more checkouts and get things through faster then people would not need to rely on the QUICK SCAN system. It’s not like you are a cheap supermarket! Awful… really upset today!"

"I had the worst experience ever on any supermarkets. This is related with their own self check out system. I was on my way out to self check out , where for a while on the queue , then before check out the system asked for staff confirmation ( normal ) , at that time an old women which was working there on her own approached with attitude where she asked to scan our items already stacked on our own bags, she then left to go help other costumers , came back again with attitude where flicking items around she broke 1 x plastic yoghurt and 1 bottle juice, she left again to help other costumers, meantime I asked for help 2 other members of staff and they said this is random check we have to do against thieves. Because of my complain She then came back again saying we have now decided to get all your items scanned !!! Pushed our trolley to a closed check out and made me and my family take everything out for her to scan and us to re- bag everything again . It was so embarrassing being treated as a thieve for more the 1 hour while she is slow and not experienced where the whole busy store is staring at me+gf+child ?!!! After all almost 2 hrs , over 100 items scanned nothing came back NOT SCANNED , at the end I could barely hear an apology from her racist mouth and a good gesture from her asking for my car number plate not to get finned for over parking . This is outrageous, its your design system of self check out to cut your staff , not to suffer your costumers , I just paid +£200 which is part of the staff wages . Not going back there ….."
