"This review is of the restaurant, not the stay over facilities of the inn. Went here at lunchtime for a meal with friends - not busy when we arrived, but got busier while we were there - but this did not cause any issues. Good choice on the menu with discounted offers - two courses for £9.95. Food was very nice though the chips looked overcooked. Good choice of desserts and generous sized portions. Well worth a visit."

"Arranged to meet in travellers for a big family get-together as my brother had just come over from South Africa. Loved the pub especially the beer garden and the girl who served us was a breath of fresh air so friendly and chatty. Will definitely be going back again and would recommend to friends and family."
