"I've the dark ash blond hair and to get it highlighted is almost an impossible task for the majority of the hairdressers. I always end up with the yellow tone (they may call it honey, butter etc) despite asking for the cold blond, pointing at the colour samples in their books. Tried many places both here (fancy ones and the chains) and when lived abroad. Joy's the second hairdresser who got it right, the first one was in Abu Dhabi. Joy did a couple of colour tone tests to get it right (the other professionals possibly think they are too professional?) to adjust to the natural hair pigment. The highlights blend perfectly with the darker ash tone and greys, meaning no horrible visible roots. I don't need to visit 6-8 weeks for the retouch. She is thorough and meticulous and she is such a nice lady."
