"DO NOT GO HERE FOR MANICURES OR PEDICURES - mediocre results, dated hospital environment, and to top it off it was £66 when I went which is a lot more expensive than other Surbiton salons! The screened off, dated hospital beds created the opposite of a calm, spa environment, and the foot spa was the same cheap brand that my mum has at home! Although gel manicure was ok, I had normal varnish for pedicure which was old & watery that left my nails far from having a polished look. My feet were barely soaked, calluses were not removed. In the end, I know I could have done a better job myself at home. So disappointing. I have a feeling this place is very good at electrolysis, waxing, and other more clinical treatments, but the atmosphere and mani/pedi skills are obviously a very low priority."

"My first experience of hair removal. I had a very pleasant experience at Alison Urwin's and felt compelled to review. I liked her "no bull" approach, she didn't mess me around. She made it clear they don't offer laser (Jan 2013) but they do offer this other thing (sorry forgot the word!) Anyway on this particular occassion i chose the wax hair removal instead. But had such a good experience will definitely return. Thanks!"
