"I recently visited the shop as I have done countless times in the past as this is my local shop. I was appalled when purchasing some alcohol for my self and my step dad to be refused a sale as my younger brother was with me and helped me to carry the goods. I showed my ID but they would still not serve me so i had to leave empty handed. My step dad returned to purchase his cans that I was refused the sale of and because they knew we were from the same family they refused him also. As a family we were devastated to think that they clearly thought we were the type of people who bought alcohol for underage family members. Since the event I feel uncomfortable having to go in to the shop as I feel that my character has been tarnished, but sometimes needs must !! So the moral of this story is don’t let your younger siblings or children help you carry alcoholic goods even if your hands are full..."
