"Absolutely worst dentist you could possibly be referred to. I was referred to this dentist 2 years ago for a broken tooth extraction, due to a phobia against needles. My standard dentist had referred me as they were licensed to conduct operations under full General anaesthesia. Within those two years (2021 to now 2023), they were constantly changing my position on the queue despite my standard dentist labelling me as an emergency case. Always giving an excuse that other people needed to be "ahead" of me, or that they were only licensed to do general anaesthesia "Once a month". As my issue grew worse, I stomached attending for local anaesthesia. The dentist was utterly rude and did not care a thing about my situation. He only gave me the smallest amount of anaesthesia and started ripping the tooth out despite all the pain I was in, didn't give me anything else for the after pain in terms of antibiotics or painkillers. When I had to return a second time a few days later involving a different tooth, they kept changing my appointment, and when I finally did get to one without it being changed, he had completely forgotten who I was or that he had done the first operation. During the second operation, he again didn't show any care and was utterly rude to my situation. He was wearing gloves too small for his hands during the operation and instead of waiting for a better pair so he could actually feel what he was doing, just went into injecting me which failed and gotten half of the liquid down my throat instead, refusing to let me spit out. He continued to blame me for situations he was causing, such as brutally going into the operation, pressing hard against the outer side of my cheek/head and complaining that my head wasn't straightened, or pressing tools against the inside without much care. Completely dismissed me or any follow up questions I had. It was clear because I was an NHS patient, they gave absolutely zero care on how I am / was, kept putting private patients ahead of me despite the number of times they claimed I was "now on the top of the list" and just wanted me in and out as quick as possible, even when they themselves said that they needed to do another work but because he was too angry on how "long" it took to deal with one tooth, he just left my mouth in an almost worst state than when I went in. Absolutely do not recommend and if your dentist ever refers you to this place, ask for another place instead."
"I had a tooth extraction surgery at practice and was treated very badly. I believe even animals would not treated at vets the way I was treated at Windsor Road Dental Practice. The dentist and the dental nurse were in such hurry. He(A male dentist)started cutting my gum when the local anaesthetics didn't worked yet, in result of his action, I suffered extreme pain and had to scream. I was so treaful on that chair. Then he injected another anaesthetics to continue the procedure. I understand that the health care professionals work in such pressure but some sorts of respect expected for their patients. The dentist reminded me that I was there as a NHS patient. I presume he would showed better attitude for private patients! Also, I needed to make sure if I could take some Ibuprofen after the procedure as a breastfeeding mum. Unfortunately, the dentist did not know the answer. So I suggested that I will check about it from Google before I left the room. Overall, it was the worst ever experience in my life."
"I had 2 wisdom teeth removed here and I'm a fairly nervous patient. The whole experience was made easy from the reception team, the nurse and the dental surgeon. I would highly recommend them all! Thank you !"
"After a referral I had multiple extractions at Windsor Road Dental Practice today & I was thoroughly impressed. From the reception team to the professionalism & skill of my dentist i could not fault my visit. I would recommend to anyone."
