"Overpriced and didn't do the job. We have been using this garage for over 6 years and it has always been on the pricey side but we always trusted that we got a good job done. And quite frankly when we first went there 6 odd years ago we had failed MOT for a problem with the car's suspension. There would be many garages that could have charged us £500+ for a whole suspension system, when only a small part that cost £80(including labor) did the job. So of course this is a place that had earned our trust and our blind loyalty. A few months ago we bought a used car and we decided to take it to the garage we always trusted for a general look over and to check a noise we heard when the engine was cold. They barely had a look at it and didn't look into the noise problem as they were too busy with other cars, as they are often overbooked; and I was charged over £60 just to have my oils checked (not changed- just checked) even though the initial quote was £40. I called them again for an air-conditioning problem they hadn't spot in their "check" and was given a quote of £130 for a flush... Took my car to another garage, they looked at the engine noise at no extra charge and charged me £50 for the same air conditioning job... Loyalty does not pay off and I would suggest checking other garages first."
