"I used Google to find a Car air-conditioning regas. I picked JLC/Ralphs Regas during the Uk hotest heatwave. The moment I met John he filled me with confidence that he k ew his trade. 12 year old Tiguan he regassed and then tested the air conditioning which unfortunately was not functioning. He looked around and made an instant diagnosis but due to volume of work could not fit me in for a repair for 3 weeks. He offered me a 50% discount on fee and took out the gas which to me was a very cost effective diagnosis and said if i could get someone to fit a new compressor he would then regas if they did not have the facility and test. He advised on makes I should look for and to ensure I got or part included the correct oil. I ordered the part which arrived 4 days later and managed to get my usual mechanic to replace and install new compressor even though he had never attempted before and had no regassing facilities. Same afternoon i revisited at very short notice John at JLC who promptly regassed, tested and aircon was up and running again. John has an encyclopaedic knowledge of different cars/ year of manufacture and what parts wear out. Thank you John for all your help and advice in 40 'C."

Very knowledgeable and experienced mechanic, explained everything to me clearly. Even dropped me to the train station and picked me up whilst I was without my car. It literally couldn’t have been a better service, I would highly recommend him."

"Excellent service from Jon, who repaired the air conditioning condenser on my Skoda Superb. Dealer had quoted £500 just to find the leak, before even fixing it; Jon said he could repair it for that price. He sent pics of the the job as it was in progress, and was as good as his word. Now the car hold its gas and the air con is lovely and cool. Thanks!"
