"My car insurer, Aviva, appointed Veetec to fix my vehicle. The steering wheel and infotainment system had been stolen. Veetec collected the car on November 10th 2022. They still have the car today, 2 February 2023. 3 months (almost) is extraordinary but one may forgive them if they are struggling to fix it because they don't know how. (They have sent the car to a main BMW dealer.) However, most embarrassing for Veetec is that they delivered the vehicle back to me on December 15th when I immediately noticed that the SatNav was not working (it thought the car was permanently in the ocean off South Africa). Clearly Veetec’s quality control process failed and also their delivery driver did not consider to question why the SatNav was not working. (He drove the car from Enfield to Kilburn.) Veetec collected the car a few days later. I understand that they are struggling to fix it but I find it very disappointing that Veetec have gone into “radio silence” mode. The manager, Simon, is polite when I talk to him but whilst he promises to keep to update me, he doesn’t. Very disappointing communication from Veetec in rather extraordinary and exceptional circumstances."
