"Went for lunch at the newly opened Hand And Flower recently. Traditional pub at the front and gastro pub at the back. Light and roomy in the dining area and the beer garden looks like a good spot for the Spring/Summer. The food was really tasty and the portion size was very generous. We will be going again. "Six of us had a fabulous Sunday lunch there. First time visit since change of ownership and refurbishment and what a great little pub. We all had roasts and the portions were great as was the taste. Was quite keen on the mango cider too. Looking forward to our next visit."

"Lovely to see this pub open again. A proper pub with great proper pub grub. Had an amazing chicken and Leek pie too big for me to finish (my husband would have done but he wasn't with me) only slight problem was it was a bit cold - not the food - probably heating costs.... Pay them a visit ..."
