"Great pub. Friendly staff, great beer and great food. Had the fish and chips which was top notch. Mrs had roast dinner which was very good (but I do better roast potatoes at home apparently:)) Staff good when it came to food allergies. Dog friendly pub."

"I attended a work event here and the food was actually quite different to what I was expecting. It seemed like a fine dining type of menu at this chique pub. It was nice, but the flavours were a bit all over the place, it's not the type of place I'd go for dinner unless someone else insisted, but that could just be due to my tastes."

"Quite nice rather than hey wow! Potato and leek soup nice but slightly too salty. Bread a bit stale. Great fries and coleslaw with my beef rib. The beef rib was a bit disappointing. Oddly tasteless compared to othe barbecue ribs I've had. My wife's fish however was good. Nice surroundings friendly staff. Big car park. Large area with picnic tables outside."

"This pub is very old since 1897, it has been mentioned in many history books that the explorers used to halt there horses and the carts here for relaxing time. Visited this pub for the first time, nice ambience and supporting staffs. They have refurbished the interior and maintaining retro interior look. There is a good space as well for outside seating. Beers are pretty good and standard as same which available in other pubs in London. Food was delicious and pretty neat. Overall a good experience"

"The place is looking great and looks better then ever the staff members are very nice and friendly as well. I think it's bit to Expensive and the food was nice but not great or outstanding or amazing the ribs was dry as you can see in the pictures and just added BBQ Sauce on it not all that sorry to say and £6.75 for a bottle of Rekorderlig Passion that's a lot of money for one drink it's not the same Quality of food from the Wedding I had here in 2016"
