"When I was a boy this was where the scarey men went and women weren't allowed in. 50 years later I was walking by and took the opportunity to actually go in for a pint and found it to be user friendly and not scarey at all."

"Not the most appealing-looking pub from the outside, but... what a great place this is! It's got a nice vibe, spacious with plenty of seating, and a good selection of spirits, lagers, bitters. The night we were here, they had Irish music playing over the stereo, and a massive assortment of varied nibbles available... for free. It's just opposite the Hounslow West Tube Station, so well connected by transport (parking is a nightmare around here), with plenty of ATMs and food places around for that post-bevvy remedy meal."
