"Nice park for an afternoon walk. Plenty of winter interest. Some of the paths are quite muddy but today were frozen solid so it didn’t matter but worth taking walking boots in case. Fresh air and some grand old trees what’s not to like."

"Nice large park with lots of amenities and a small lake with ducks and geese. Lots of well kept open spaces good for dog walking and childrens games. Good footpath access round the park for pushchairs and wheel chairs. Plenty of parking with a dog friendly cafe. Ornamental gardens are really well planted ranging from formal displays to rose gardens and inventive borders.There is a nursery shop here too."
