"We have been to the Tiltyard Cafe at Hampton Court many times over the years -- it is pleasant place to sit outside on a sunny day. The quality of the food has varied, on occasions in the past it has been excellent. However, we have found the current caterers to be very disappointing. On our most recent visit we had a tomato soup which was tasteless, luke warm, and full of rice (with no evidence of any tomato), together with a chunk of bread which was completely stale. Not recommended at the moment."

"Enjoyed the sandwich but chips were overcooked, food, we felt, was overpriced. Better signage needed re the menu so you knew what you wanted to order before you got up to the counter and had to ask, would therefore save time. The Palace was great and the ghost trail fantastic.."
