"Breakfast is prepared with the delicacy of a proper French cuisine. No matter whether it is Benedict eggs, scramble eggs, or sunny eggs, it is just cooked and seasoned to perfection. I would love to try lunch or dinner in the future. However, the table is too closed for a French restaurant."

"We walked in without reservation on Wed night and it was fully booked. Staff was most helpful in finding a Terrace table for us. Food was scrumptious and well portioned."

"Colbert used to be part of the  Corbin and Kings chain of facsimile restaurants including Zedel and The Delaunay but is now owned by Thai group,  Minor International. Serving an all day brasserie type menu, Colbert is an uber trendy place in which to see and be seen, with prices to match. You could get away with a burger and chips, a decent beer and a nice cake for about £45 but expect to splash out £70 p.h for a decent lunch including a glass of house wine. They also do a fairly bland set menu at £ 24.50 for two courses (£29.50 for 30). Portion sizes are generous and the cooking is accomplished if not spectacular. My Lemon Sole was a tad woolly and overcooked and the mash a bit gluey but it's a nice set of rooms overlooking Sloane Square with a genuine "Deauville" feel. Service is very good (they even allow you to taste the house wine served by the glass before committing to it ...a nice touch.) Desserts were excellent, especially the patisseries and ice cream coupes."

"Nice French brasserie. We had a simple lunch of salad and artichoke. It was good. Nice ambiance. Great service. My only complaint is that the men’s restroom smelled of stale urine. There’s really no excuse for that."

"Popped in for a quick lunch, the Côte de boeuf was very nice however the portion size seem smaller than expected quite thin. Duck confit was ok, duck seemed a little on the dry side. However the orange braised endives were very nice."
