"Great customer service, food can be improved! I got the beef teriyaki. - The beef was very dry and tough, making it difficult to chew. - The pieces of beef were very large and not conve to eat with the chopsticks and fork provided. Using a knife would not have helped because of the tall cylindrical container wher ethe beef sits atop rice SOLUTION : Cut the beef pieces smaller. - Making them bitesize will create perceived tenderness (especially if but across the grain!). - will much improve the eating experience. I found the dish to be quite bland The portion of rice was very generous. I could not finish it all."
"Extremely disappointed. This place use to be so good, I use to recommend it to all of my friends! Now they completely changed the sushi menu. The sushi is absolutely disgusting, it made me sick. They use to sell the California roll with caviar and that was so delicious, as well as shrimp sushi with caviar too, I loved it so much. They do not sell it anymore. Now they have completely changed the California roll into a plain, hard to eat, no taste and absolutely disgusting sushi box for a high price. They now have sushi which should be worth at least £1. The place is so disappointing and I’m sure many people have began to regret purchasing the box recently. I do not recommend it anymore. Fix up or lower the price!"
"I love this place! Good is always authentic and delicious. You I can see staff preparing meals from the morning so it's always fresh. My favourite is chicken gyoza ramen. But love most of the options, hot and cold sushi or bowls too. Great quality for the price. I definitely recommend Lotus to everyone."
"This shop was amazing at the beginning when the stuff was respectful with the customers. Yesterday I went to the shop and there was a mix and match offer available at the time. I was refused to be served and she was trying to sell me some other tipes of food at extra cost when the food that I wanted was just in front of me. I had this problem for the 4th time now at this location and it always happens when the small blond Asian girl is at the counter. It would be nice if she would respect the shops rules like all of her colleges. I hope that one day situations like this can differen so costumers can leave the shop with a smile on their faces."
