"Had an exceptional evening here upon their re-opening. Service was top notch and they made an a real effort with my friend that is gluten free. A few small things / touches missing, hence four starts not five (would give 4.5 if I could) like forgetting the lemon with my calamari and the chocolate sauce for my brownie!"

"Great experience. A warm welcome on arrival. Waiting time was minimal given the day and the hour. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and warm. The service was brilliant. Would definitely visit again"

"I’ve had an awful experience on this Zizi. After waiting one hour for a pizza, the staff comes to our table and asks if we’ve already ordered and with whom. Apparently the other waitress didn’t register it and they just left us siting there for a full hour. I’d understand ir they were busy, but the place was empty with just two other couples, so at this point we just got up and left. We’ve observed the other tables did not get their order either: they were already there when we arrived, and still no sign of food when we left. Other than the complete awful service, the atmosphere of the place also isn’t great, bad decorations and annoying sounds playing, felt like a bit abandoned to be honest. Can’t say about the food since we didn’t have any."

"This was the first time I'd been here in over 2 years as previously was terrible. I cab honestly say the my trip was fantastic this time. Lorenzo was fantastic. He was very attentive and helpful and made sure plates were tided, made sure we never had a empty glass. It was my birthday and was a brilliant night. We will definitely be back."

"Zizzi is a chain and therefore service and food differ between each one. The one thing that really stood out for me was the amount of waiting staff that were available and six tables (including us) that needed to be served. Between the waiting staff and tables, there would be a maximum of 2 tables they would need to serve completely. Our time at the restaurant took 2 hours for all of our food to come out between 2 adults and a child. Somehow my food was served before the others seated with me, even though I ordered 15 minutes later, their food taking almost 30 minutes. We had to ask for a glass 4 times before we were provided with one. A kid's dessert had to be asked for twice, and also took over 20 minutes to be served. The food itself was okay, although feeling slightly overpriced for the whole experience, although personally my pizza was slightly under cooked and I ended up using condiments to flavour the pizza. Not to say that this would be the experience you'd have everytime you come here, as a familiar face had also come to eat here around 15 minutes later, and by the time we bid our farewells, they seemed to have already finished eating. Take my review as you will but personally I wouldn't dine here again. - There was one waitress however who was quite attentive when we tried getting the attention of the staff, so my thanks to you."
