"This whole thing I found out was a complete scam when I read the reviews! Before hand But still wanted to audition anyway to see what it was about. I was in a room with like maybe 25 other people that had the same dream some got out quickly. The lady who asked us the questions during our audition was extremely rude to other people who didn’t have the right set up and or had bad audio? She said my audition gave her the chills!!! Yeah that’s because I took classes and have been acting for ten years. Then she asks the question if I’m an A, B, C actor I purposely said B but I already know I’m an A cause 1. I do the work, 2. I’ve had the classes and 3. I have headshots and pics ready to send in. Basically I made it through the top 6 but decided to not go through with it because the reward literally was online traning !!? NOOOOOOO I don’t need it I’ve already had my training and I heard u had to pay money??? No agency should ever ask you for money when auditioning to join them it should be free for actors. Don’t give in to what they do it’s a scam. And a shame cause I wanted to find a better agency to join because I already have two agencies that aren’t booking me the work right now."
"It’s a total scam. They take your money. There’s no need for a modeling class. Everything about this place is a lie. Done waste your time or money. EDIT: after claiming they don’t know who I am (I have receipts of paying them money and all, I guess I’ll shoot an email to their company and ask if they remember me paying them over $600. Secondly, Juliana was my “agent” and when I called, she claimed to be laid off. I also find it quite odd how she was an agent at only 19..."
"Absolutely horrendous. Initially got a call from a girl named Vivian saying they were looking for new faces for the season, and scheduled an "audition" which consisted of "How well you move in front of the camera" "runway" and "Script Reading", those were the initial instructions from Vivian. So I show up on my audition day and was rushed thru a small white room with a photographer hurrying you for a photo, literally spent 10 seconds in front of the camera. Not enough time to "Show how well you move in front of the camera". Not even close. Then was sat in a room with chairs and a runway. There were 2 people sitting next to the Main Lady who went on and on about her family and what the company is, and all the talent they've developed and all this lame, pointless talk. Let me mention it was not just me. It was families and other candidates, of all ages. I walked the runway, which was a runway about 10 yards long..... ..... and was told to pose 3 times.... (men's fashion shows, the men don't do 3 poses in a span of 10 YARDS)! After more talk about possibilities and what was gonna happen, I was the first one called up, and was asked by the main lady, can you come back tomorrow at 11:30am. I confirmed and was handed a sheet that had the date and time of my next meeting, as well as a congratulatory message saying I was one of the "Top applicants in today's Audition". Then got called back in 3 and a half hours, saying i was cut. I then called back, to just get confirmation, seeing as how I was told and confirmed to come back the next day, but then got a call saying the complete opposite. All in all the call ended by saying, "if you can come back with $1750 at 11:30 tomorrow we can work with ya, if not..well.. " THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!!"
"I must say that I was pleasantly surprised with program. I have been scouted by other "modeling schools" in the past and each place wanted my mom to pay over $2200 dollars for classes, (which were being held in a hotel conference room fyi) All of the other schools were just that, a school, no agency, no representation after completion. John Casablancas is the only place that actually has its own local agency. The staff was great, very knowledgeable and honest with me and my mom. No one ever promised me anything or guaranteed me a job but hello no place that actually cares about you should ever promise you anything! I knew going into it that there would be work involved. People who graduate from an Ivy League school aren't even promised a job once they graduate yet no one is calling Harvard or Yale a "scam" or a "waste of money". The whole experience was great. It really helped my confidence I definitely think it's worth the investment!"
