UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN RIVER FALLS DAIRY LEARNING CENTER
The University of Wisconsin River Falls Dairy Learning Center is a part of the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Science, offering quality education in agricultural sciences since 1912. Located in River Falls, Wisconsin, United States, the institution operates two laboratory farms that play a crucial role in students' education. These farms support various animal herds including dairy cattle, beef cattle, horses, swine, and sheep, as well as crop production facilities. The Campus Farm, situated within walking distance of campus, focuses on horse operations and covers approximately 130 acres. The Mann Valley Farm, located 2.5 miles northwest of River Falls, spans around 475 acres and houses beef, dairy, sheep, and swine operations. Both farms offer hands-on educational experiences for students in areas such as animal sciences, horticulture, crop and soil science, and agricultural engineering technology.
North Hall
North Hall, located at 410 South 3rd Street in River Falls, Wisconsin, is a historic institution that was constructed in 1914 and is the second oldest building on campus. This school, university houses the mathematics, marketing communications, and journalism departments, as well as administrative offices such as the Chancellor's Office and Registrar's Office. Additionally, North Hall is home to the Student Voice newspaper and WRFW student-operated radio station, providing students with valuable practical experience in journalism and communications. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, North Hall offers a rich academic environment for students pursuing careers in these fields.
