"What a gem of a motel. Fantastic rate! Room appeared to be recently renovated. Bed was firm, bedding was very comfortable. Everything was very clean, love that they put laminate flooring instead of carpet! There was a small fridge but no microwave or coffee pot. Walls are pretty thin as with most older motels but people in next room were not loud so wasn’t an issue. Also, railroad tracks are across the street so you will hear trains, however they seemed to be quiet between 10 pm and 5 am."

"I stayed in this motel for a while and I found that compared to marathon, Monroe, and Vernon counties I had stayed at this motel was by far the best place I’ve stayed at. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The manager was very nice and polite and they are pet friendly so you can take your paw babies with you and you have a nice place for them to be as well. There is shopping and cabs or just walking to some places. I absolutely loved it and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for something affordable and comfortable."

"Check in was super easy and the rooms were clean & recently updated! A little on the small side but we were boating all weekend and not in the room much anyways. My only complaint was our shower was ice cold and had very little water pressure."

"I stayed here 4 weeks in a row while traveling for school. Their rates were $35/night which seems reasonable for what they offer. 3/4 weeks the room was cleaned up to my standard. Showers got hot. Toilet in one room did not flush and after asking for it to be fixed, somebody looked at it and it still didn’t work. Reservations are unorganized as I walked into an occupied room one week. They never change the key codes to the rooms so I did not feel comfortable leaving my stuff. It is also located right next to a very busy train track. At their new rates of $72-$90/night you’re better off staying down the road for the same price at the Quality Inn."

"Still being renovated. Rooms are cheap and clean. Having issues with wifi when we visited. TV runs off of wifi so it kept stopping and buffering. Wanted to watch TV and wind down after full day of exploring the area. Got frustrated instead. After first day was told it was being worked on. Never worked all weekend. Hot tub in room had sign that said do not use. Time will tell if things get straightened out."
