Located at 5960 North Lake Drive in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, Klode Park is a popular tourist attraction and community park. The park offers a variety of amenities including picnic areas, tennis courts, and a community-built playground. Visitors can also enjoy the warming house with restrooms, ice-skating in winter, and a scenic path leading down to the beach on Lake Michigan. In 2024, the Klode Park playground will undergo renovations including partial replacement of equipment, surfacing, and permanent fencing. The Department of Public Works has already begun preparations for the project, with temporary construction fencing in place and equipment removal underway. The installation of new playground equipment is expected to begin in April, with the project scheduled for completion in the spring of 2024.
