Maple Manor
Maple Manor, located at 2207 Maple Drive in Sister Bay, Wisconsin, is a unique lodging institution housed in a beautifully renovated historical church. With 8 bedrooms, 6 of which have en-suite bathrooms, Jacuzzi tubs, fireplaces, desks, and sitting areas, Maple Manor offers a luxurious and comfortable stay for guests. The home features a stunning eat-in kitchen with cherry cabinets and granite countertops, a spacious great room with a 25-foot high ceiling, a dining room that seats 10, a large deck, fire pit, grill, and a half-acre county backyard. Formerly the Sister Bay Baptist Church, Maple Manor has a rich history dating back to 1882 when the property was donated by J.J. Wiltse. The church was demolished in 1916 and rebuilt, before a new church was constructed on Hwy 42 in 1975. In 2001, Kurt Reetz purchased and renovated the old church into a second home for his family. In November 2018, Maple Manor was purchased by new owners who have added a finished basement, increasing the capacity to sleep 22 guests.
