"Thursday Rib Special was good. Tasty ribs served with crispy fries. Delicious. "The Shack" is nicer than its name would have you believe, but not so much that it's ironic. Folding tables and chairs, paper plates, and an entrance staircase that could use a fresh coat of paint are a few of the charms of this neighborhood dive bar. Friendly service that borders on "midwest nice" and clientele who are "real characters" make you smile and feel welcome. There was even a lunchtime Euchre game going on. Nice cold beer with a faint taste of tap lines slightly overdue for a cleaning, plent of screns for sports, beer signs and posters adorn the walls. Clean and tidy interior, including the restrooms. A classic small town "townie" bar."

"I had a cheeseburger and waffle fries. The burger was good. But the thing to mention is that the ranch dressing was goooood!!! Waffle fries with homemade ranch! Yes!"

"Pleasantly surprised by the food! The fried mushrooms are perfectly done. The prime rib on Saturday is great - and a ton of food! Fish fry is also excellent. The burgers are good. The BBQ ribs are marvelous! Fall off the bone delightful - yum! This months (October) appetizer special - crab rangoon - is delicious!"

"My family came here, unplanned for a quick bite. We loved what we ordered and were also impressed with the fries. Usually fries are just ordinary fries, but these ones are in my top 3! Service was great and quick! We'll be back!"
