Lancaster Welcome Inn

"Stayed here for a wedding for two nights. I wasn’t expecting anything spectacular considering the prices were low which is why we chose this place to begin with but, I was expecting at least a well kept room. First night, the toilet was gross, the towels looked like someone rubbed their nacho cheese dorito fingers on them. The bath towels had black marks on them and were rough. The sheets were disgusting I slept on top of the quilt. Next day housekeeper came in and picked up the dirty towels from the previous night and instead of giving new ones refolded them and hung them back up… they gave us one bed with new sheets and cleaned the toilet bowl."

"Would not recommend this hotel. Owner is cheap and opts to not fix most issues. Just in our room, the electronic lock does not work, nor the in-wall heating/AC unit. Rooms look nice and all but there is no housekeeping staff to clean the rooms or change out towels, so one must ask the owner or do it themselves."

"Wow, we were so disappointed, and will not stay here again! Every year we come to Lancaster for my fathers high school reunion, and have stayed at the Lancaster Welcome Inn. Our room smelled of mold, mildew, and dirty wet dog. The bed had very worn sheets, no blanket, and only a coverlet. The A/C turned on but the temperature knob could not be adjusted since it was broken. In the bathroom the shower had red and black mold in shower grout. I went to the front desk to change rooms, but desk clerk said no other rooms were available. We would have left, but we arrived at 10:30 at night, and were tired after driving. I asked for Lysol, and bleach to clean the shower, but he didn't have any, he offered glade. WTH is Glade going to do???? Find another hotel!"

"We used to really enjoy staying here. The new owners are not friendly like the previous owner. Corners have been cut tremendously from the breakfast now being very minimal to the towels and wash washcloths being stained. The overall quality of a stay has gone down. Amy the house keeper is still friendly and kind as ever though!"

"Check in was quick and friendly. Our room was very clean and updated It was also quiet when we were in our room We will stay here again Surprised by how very nice everything was . Beds were very nice and very comfortable as well. I would stay at this hotel again! it was a great location for us at a great price Great value for the money.. We would definitely stay here again.."
