The Palm Room is a unique glass-enclosed structure located at 465 Lodge Drive, Wheeling, West Virginia, United States. Situated on the historic Hilltop of Oglebay, it is adjacent to the Club House and the Welcome Center. Guests can enjoy a video introducing them to the various activities available in the park, as well as explore a photo exhibit showcasing the transition of Waddington Farm to the park we know today. The Palm Room features lush decorative plantings and connects the greenhouses to the Garden Bistro, which is open seasonally from May through early October. Built in 1905 by Lord & Burnham Architects, the Palm Room was originally used to house exotic plants belonging to Sallie Oglebay. Today, it showcases year-round, seasonal, and thematic installations with a mix of historic and modern elements. Visitors can easily access the Palm Room by taking exit 5 (WV-88/Elm Grove/Triadelphia) or exit 4 (WV-88/Elm Grove) and following the directions to the Wheeling Park entrance.
