The Cat and The Fiddle is a private music school located at 152 Capon School Street in Capon Bridge, West Virginia. We are dedicated to helping students of all ages learn and appreciate traditional music, while also fostering a vibrant folklife community in our area. In addition to our music lessons, we are also a one-stop shop for all your stringed instrument needs. The Encore is a unique institution located at 720 Powell Avenue in Morgantown, West Virginia. It serves as a rustic listening room and dance hall dedicated to preserving and showcasing traditional American music. Our mission is to support local live music, introduce new artists, and create a concert-like experience for both audiences and performers. For inquiries, please contact us at theencore@comcast.net. Parking is available on the right side of the building in the gravel lot, with overflow parking at Ralph's Beer Distributor after 5:00 pm and on weekends. Additional off-hours parking is available at Marilla Park, accessible via a footbridge from the rail-trail. A drop-off area for patrons with mobility issues is located near the entrance.
