Lake Sherwood Recreation Area is a fantastic family destination located at 410 East Main Street in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. This campground, lodging, and park offers a wide range of activities and camping options for visitors to enjoy. Situated along Lake Sherwood, the largest lake in the Monongahela National Forest, guests can take advantage of swimming beaches, a picnic area, boat ramp, and numerous hiking trails. Campers can choose from standard, tent-only, and group camping facilities, each equipped with parking spurs, tent pads, picnic tables, fire rings, and lantern posts. Showers are accessible, and all camping areas have restrooms with running water, flush toilets, hot showers, and electricity (available during the summer season). Playground, picnic shelters, and volleyball courts are also available for guests to use.
