Recognized for his contributions, he was honored with the Young OD of the Year award by the WVAOP and the 2019 Dr. W. David Sullins, Jr. InfantSee award. Dr. Carpenter is also a noted lecturer on topics such as infant eye exams and ocular injections.Dr. Philip Wilmoth: Dr. Wilmoth, originally from Elkins, WV, graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN.
