● OpenThe Palouse Tables Project: On the Move Mobile Farmstand is a unique institution located at 350 Fairmount Drive in Pullman, Washington. This institution, which falls under the category of food, grocery, or supermarket store, is dedicated to empowering communities and promoting self-reliance through the distribution of local and fresh food in a "pay as you can" model farm stand. The mobile farm stand travels to 26 different communities in Latah and Whitman County every other month, providing access to essential food items and social services. The institution is currently running a pledge campaign to support the On the Move Project, aiming to secure funding for 4 years of operation. By raising pledges totaling $56,500 before June 3rd, the project will be able to continue its mission of connecting farms, food pantries, and nutrition to build a better food system in the Palouse region. Each mile of the program costs $0.83, covering expenses such as food, staff time, maintenance, insurance, and supplies.
